Hi All!
Happy New Year! Just wanted to let you know that I am at Katie's.
I came here on New Year's Eve from Meghan and Scot's. Katie has been having pains for a couple of weeks now so
it seems like baby Pentecost may be showing his face soon!! Ryan and Beth picked me up at the Louisville airport
and came and spent the night here with us. It is fun to see all the kids during the holidays!! I do feel bad about
Dave being home alone so long but he wants me to be here.
It was very busy with the twins and I cried like a baby when it was time to leave. They
are so cute and cuddly! Meghan is a very efficient Mom and Scot is funny with the boys. He is good at mimicing
all the faces they make...it is definitely a busy house!!
I hope Katie goes soon as she is very uncomfortable. We went to church today and had to
leave early because she wasn't feeling well.
Grampa is starting to do better after having three valves replaced and
his aorta mended. He is having a pacemaker installed tomorrow and should be heading home later in the day. The
valves that were replaced were not synchronized right therefore he needed the pacemaker. Dave said it was hard to see
him after the surgery...Grampa has always been such a lively person. He passed out once when they got him up and that
was bad but at least now he seems to be doing better. His sugar was also elevated after the surgery and they put him
on insulin but they feel that that is just a temporary thing.
It is fun to get to spend some time with Grace. She is a sweet
little girl and wants Nanny to do everything for her at the moment!! I took her to her friend's birthday party today
at a gymnastics place and she is quite a daredevil!!
Needless to say, life has been busy and a little stressful but everyone seems to be doing well.
Katie only has a cell phone with limited minutes before 9pm but you all can call here if you want. Her number is 859-509-8370.
She doesn't get charged for incoming calls. I'll keep you posted as to when the baby comes.....Love, Mame
